A first-generation artist born and raised in The San Fernando Valley, Sam grew up working in her dad's garage to pay for show costumes and drum lessons
Her first director Gloria Watts took Sam under her wing, double casting her in a slew of youth theatre musicals over the next 10 years as girl, boy, and gender-neutral roles*

Forgoing a college education for a serving job, Sam worked for 7 years in restaurants while working non-union acting jobs, training in improv and vocals, and building her photo and video side hustle: Sam Photography
After 488 auditions, 138 callbacks, and 59 job bookings, in 2021 Sam decided to take a break from the audition hustle and pursue her own creative endeavors. At 24, she left the service industry, legitimized her business, and started working full-time for her production company: SamSkape Productions Inc.

In June 2024, she debuted her one-woman musical "SAM" at the Hollywood Fringe Festival, which sold out its 9-performance run to critical acclaim and garnered numerous Best Solo Performance awards and nominations, and performed its first national tour in SF, NYC, Chicago, and LA at renowned comedy theatres like UCB, iO Chicago, and more in the Summer of 2025
