After 3 years of trying, last month it finally happened: "Trying" was screened at the Annual International Conference on ADHD 2024, where I was invited to speak about "Trying" and my experience learning that I had ADHD after making the film, and it was an absolute dream come true.

I was able to connect in-person for the first time with friends from ADHD organizations that have championed "Trying" for years, and was celebrated for being my loud, fast-talking, expressive, animated, flailing self, which is a gift I'll be taking with me for the rest of my days.
